Obituary
Willie Edward Kaatz Jr (Bill) was born in Arizona to Willie Kaatz Sr. and Alma Dean Kaatz on September 18, 1948. Bill had fought a long hard battle with heart disease that ultimately took his life on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Bill passed away very peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland.
Bill is survived by his wife of forty-two years Kathy and their three children, Brian, Matthew, and Sarah as well as two brothers and one sister. But most importantly Bill is survived by his four "best little buddies" Madison age 12, Elizabeth age 6, Tyler age 6 and his namesake Willie age 19 months.
Bill's children, grandchildren and extended family members were the most important things in his life and will be missed dearly by all of them.

Bill will be remembered on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at a memorial held at Aurora City Park at 11:00 am. The family would like to request that in lieu of flowers, Bill would have loved to have donations made to Oregon Health and Science University – Cardiac Care Team who has provided our family with the most amazing care and compassion for the past two and half years of his life.
