Obituary
Leonard Saxton Lyon III (Barry) passed away June 28, 2021 from undetermined natural causes. Barry was born in Los Angeles, CA. on November 1, 1944 to Leonard S. Lyon, Jr. and Carolyn May Meyer.
He attended Harvard Westlake High School in Los Angeles and University of Oregon in Eugene. While at U of O Barry was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity, played rugby, joined ROTC and later served in the National Guard. After graduating in 1968 from U of O he worked as an accountant.
Barry loved sports and enjoyed golfing, snow skiing, and tennis. He entered triathlons and coached boys flag football.
A longtime resident of Wilsonville Oregon's Charbonneau District, he also lived in Eugene and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Barry was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother Christopher.
He loved to make people laugh; his gentle soul and loving heart is greatly missed.
