Hugo Janowski, aged 92, passed away on November 8, 2024, in Portland, Oregon. Hugo was a long-time resident of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, and recently relocated to Oregon.
Hugo was a devoted husband to Irmgard Janowski and a loving father to his daughters, Nancy Fransen and Denise Hoffman, who, along with their spouses Bruce Fransen and Larry Hoffman, mourn his loss.
He was a dedicated entrepreneur, having owned and operated a machine shop initially based in Palatine and later relocated to Elk Grove, Illinois. His technical precision and commitment to quality left a lasting impact. He is most remembered for his love of the outdoors, particularly fishing, and his passion for building a fleet of remote-controlled airplanes, which brought him much joy and satisfaction.
Hugo leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and enthusiasm for life, cherished by all who knew him. His family and friends will deeply miss his strong and vibrant spirit.
