Helen Lucina Kittredge was born in Silver Lake, Oregon on June 13, 1921, to Emil and Verna Egli of Silver Lake. Helen was living in West Linn where she passed away on October 1, 2016 at the age of 95.
Helen attended Silver Lake grammar and high schools and attended Pacific University in Forest Grove. She married her long-time friend and schoolmate, Walter D. Kittredge, Jr. on August 30, 1940.
Helen led a full and positive life, blazed her own path, kept her promises, upheld her impeccable work ethic, and maintained an independent spirit and feisty sense of humor. She always saw the brighter side of life and her glass was consistently at least half full. Helen's loving family and friends will miss her and her memory, influence and inspiration will continue to live on in their minds and hearts.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lucile Emery Berry and brother Amil Egli, husband Walter (Kit) Kittredge (1979) and daughter E. Marie Vogt (1985).
