Ellie O'Leary, a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend to many passed away peacefully on October 13 at the age of 53.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, she graduated from Lakeridge High School, earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon, and completed a Masters in Social Work at Loyola University, Chicago.
Ellie built her life around family, faith, and the belief that love, laughter and chocolate could carry anyone through life's hardest days. A fiercely protective mother and a supportive wife, she poured her heart into raising her children and creating a home filled with comfort and warmth. Her marriage was marked by enduring love and loyalty.
Ellie honored family traditions and truly enjoyed entertaining. Her door was always open and there was always room for one more at the table – especially Duck fans. Her warmth and candor drew you in and made you want to stay a while. She will be remembered for her welcoming spirit, her generosity, and a quick wit that brought an uplifting perspective even in difficult times.
Her laughter was contagious, her kindness genuine, and her presence a steady reminder of what it means to love deeply and live fully.
