Edward "Ted" D. Dyke
October 18, 1935 – August 13, 2017
Ted passed away at his home peacefully surrounded by his family. Ted was born in Oregon City to Timothy and Rose Dyke. He graduated from Benson Tech School. He married Dolores "Lorie" Hillner in Woodburn, OR on October 18, 1958. Ted was in the National Guard for 8 years. He worked for Western Electric, GTE, and retired from Verizon. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus at Resurrection Catholic Parish.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lorie; sister, Barbara Kinney; sons, Tim and Carma Dyke, Greg and Carol Dyke; son-in-law, Brian Roberson. Ted was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Roberson. Ted also had 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Knights of Columbus.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17 from 1-3pm in Cornwell Wilsonville Funeral Chapel.
Rosary will be held at 10:30am with Mass at 11:00am on Friday, August 18 at Resurrection Catholic Parish. A reception will follow the mass. Private burial will be held at St. Luke Cemetery.
