Dixie Lee McNamara, 74, of Lake Oswego, Oregon, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024.

Dixie was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Maurice Ray Bottom and Dixie Louise Bottom, who preceded her in death. She grew up with a deep love for animals, a trait that stayed with her throughout her life. In addition to her parents, Dixie was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Bailey.

Dixie is survived by her devoted husband, Mark Edward McNamara of Lake Oswego, OR; her sons, Nicholas Adam Waggoner of Lake Oswego, OR, and Gabriel Aaron Waggoner of Oregon City, OR; her sister, Sandra Dages (Michael) of Hebron, KY, and her cherished dog, Lily. She is also remembered by her many friends and family members who will miss her dearly.

Dixie was known for her warm heart, generosity, sense of humor and unwavering love for her family and pets. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Details regarding a celebration of Dixie's life will be sent out soon to family and friends.
