Carol Adel (White) Williams, of Woodburn, Oregon, nicknamed ‘Bonnie’ Blue Eyes, was born November 15, 1948, to Fred and Alice (Gess) White in San Franscico, California. She passed from this world into Paradise with Jesus on February 27, 2026, after a battle with breast cancer. October 19, 1968, Bonnie married Danny R. Williams in Milwaukie, Oregon. (They were divorced in 2003). Bonnie was a 1967 graduate of Oregon City High School, Oregon City, Oregon. She was proud to say she was a Pioneer. Upon graduation she attended and graduated from Bassist College in Portland, Oregon in Interior Design, 1968. She went on to work for Meier & Frank’s Department Store in Portland and Salem. She was manager of accessories and displays for Wick’s and Levitz Furniture Stores. She won several design awards for Levitz furniture at the Home Shows.
In June of 1978 Carie Amber Williams joined the family. Bonnie was thrilled to be a mother and to create a home for Carie to grow and thrive. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Carie, her son-in-law Kevin Smidt of Canby, Oregon. Her sister Sue Coffin (Steve) of Stayton, Oregon, and her brother Dale White (Cathie) of Milwaukie, Oregon. Nieces Dana Peters (Mike), Jennifer Coffin (Steve Gallant). Nephew Eric (Laura). Cousins: Karen Handley, Eagle, ID, Kathy Toomey, Portland, OR, Kim O’Connell, Medford, OR, Karl Nelson, and Ken Nelson, Pacifica, CA. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, and Danny Williams.
Bonnie will be remembered for her eye of style in her home, and the love she shared there with family and friends. She was always ready for a game of hand and foot. Throughout her life and her cancer battle she always had her spunk, humor, love, and refreshing honesty. Her life is irreplaceable – a great gift to us all.
Bonnie asked that donations be made to: B-17 Alliance Foundation: 3278 25th St. SE, Salem, Oregon 97302 in honor of her father a WWII veteran.
